For over twenty years I have been researching, using, and teaching creative and collaborative design across diverse contexts including digital public consultations on light rail infrastructure, interactive media and technology for engagement with environmental issues, cultural and community heritage, cross-sector knowledge exchange, and healthcare service improvement and innovation. Alongside this, I have developed a creative practice as a photographer, designer, and digital artist.
I’m fortunate to have collaborated with organisations in the public, private, and voluntary and community sector.
I’m enthusiastic about and driven by:
- Thinking differently and being imaginative – I’m often the person with the left-field ideas.
- Helping others innovate and think outside the box – facilitating early-stage design activities and developing creative resources for ‘design thinking’.
- Making things – photography, video, interactive media, and Lego!
- Making a difference – delivering projects with tangible benefits for people, places, and organisations.
See my portfolio for example projects.
I’m always happy to chat about if and how I might use my skills to help others think differently and make a difference so, please do get in touch.
